From the time of dissemination of the information about children, who were in a socially vulnerable situation in “Ikinji Chayli” village of Shamakhi and placed in a social care facility via social networks and the media, the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan Sabina Aliyeva focused on this issue.
Today, five children, living in life and health-threatening conditions, were placed in the Shelter and Social Rehabilitation Center for the Vulnerable Population Groups of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population.
The Ombudsman Sabina Aliyeva visited these children in the social-care facility, got familiarized with their living conditions, psychological situation, and the situation of ensuring their other rights, including their right to education.
During the meeting, the Ombudsman stressed that the situation with ensuring the rights of the children, including the registration of their births will be kept in focus.
