Ombudsman visited the family of the Hero of the Patriotic War, Shahin Allahyarov

The Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ms. Sabina Aliyeva regularly monitors the situation of the families of martyrs and war veterans.

To learn the problems of another martyr’s family, the Ombudsman visited the family of Shahin Allahyarov, a Hero of the Patriotic War, and was acquainted with problems faced by his family. It must be noted that Shahin Allahyarov's baby, who was born after his death, was given his name.

In addition, to immortalize the name of the martyr, the Guba Specialized Olympic Reserve Children-Youth Sports and Chess School was named after him.

Shahin Allahyarov was posthumously granted with medals “Hero of the Patriotic War”, “For the Motherland”, and "For the liberation of Shusha” according to relevant Presidential Orders.

During the meeting, the family of the martyr expressed their thankfulness for the care provided them by the State.
