Jalilabad, Sheki, Ganja, and Guba Regional Centers of the Ombudsman of Azerbaijan organized a number of events dedicated to Victory Day.
The Ombudsman's Jalilabad Regional Center held an event on "Our glorious victory is a chronicle of the victory of our statehood history" dedicated to November 8 - Victory Day in Jalilabad city school-lyceum No. 8 and Girdeni village of Lankaran region. The events were attended by teachers, high school students, participants of the Patriotic War, veterans, and youth activists.
In connection with the Victory Day, Sheki Regional Center together with the Heydar Aliyev Centers of Gabala and Ismayilli regions held a video conference on "Our path to victory" with the participation of employees of various stakeholders of those regions, participants of the Patriotic War, and youth.
The Ombudsman’s Ganja Regional Center jointly with the Yevlakh District Heydar Aliyev Center organized an online conference on "Our glorious history, our path to victory." Also, the head of the Regional Center took part in an event organized at the Ganja City Integrated Training Gymnasium of Boarding Type with the participation of representatives of the families of martyrs, veterans, students, and teachers.
The Guba Regional Center in cooperation with Khachmaz City Youth and Sports Department and the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations, "ASAN Service" Center in Guba held a video conference on Victory Day and State Flag Day.
During the events, it was said our brave army liberated more than 300 settlements within 44-day of hostilities launched since September 27, 2020, under the leadership of Supreme Commander-in-Chief Mr. Ilham Aliyev. It was also underlined that the liberation of Shusha on November 8, the crown of Karabakh, which has a great symbolic meaning for the people of Azerbaijan, is one of the greatest operations in military history. It was stressed that the flag of Azerbaijan, a symbol of our state sovereignty is proudly waving in our lands, which have been under enemy occupation for many years.
In their speeches, the representatives of the Ombudsman's regional centers mentioned that the Ombudsman institution always pays attention to the care of the families of martyrs and veterans, and also gave information on how the Ombudsman conveyed the facts of international crimes committed by Armenia to the international community.
Other participants also shared their views on the historic victory of the brave Azerbaijani Army.
