Ombudsman Sabina Aliyeva continues meetings with war veterans

The Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan Sabina Aliyeva continues meetings with veterans of the Patriotic War, the wounded ones and their families.

Veterans of the Patriotic War, Alexander Kornev and Yusif Mammadov took part in the meeting held at the Ombudsman’s Office.

The Ombudsman congratulated and thanked the veterans upon the victory of the glorious Azerbaijani Army under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief.

S. Aliyeva has emphasized that the Azerbaijani people demonstrated exemplary unity and showed great courage during the 44-day war, every citizen, regardless of religion, language and ethnicity, always living in the tolerant environment in our country, mobilized all efforts for the territorial integrity of the country.

During the meeting, the Ombudsman inquired about the concerns of veterans and noted that the issues raised in their appeals will be kept under her control.

The war veterans, attended the meeting thanked for the attention provided by the Ombudsman.
