Ombudsman met with war veterans and families of martyrs

The Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Sabina Aliyeva met with a group of war veterans and families of martyrs. Ali Hasanov, father of martyr Elnur Allahverdizade, Kamran Valiyev, father of martyr Ali Valiyev, Matanat Guliyeva, mother of martyr Rashad Guliyev and his wife Ayten Guliyeva, as well as war veterans Ervin Javadov, Mansur Mammadov, Parviz Guliyev and Elvin Orujov took part in the meetings held at the Ombudsman Office.

The Ombudsman congratulated the family members of martyrs and war veterans on the glorious Victory gained under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev as a result of the 44 day-long Patriotic war. Sabina Aliyeva also stressed that the martyrs liberated our lands from the enemy at the cost of their lives and sacrificed for this sake of honor, and she wished patience to the families of martyrs.

During the meetings, state care for the martyr families and war veterans was noted. At the same time, the Ombudsman listened to their appeals on different issues and got information about their concerns. Sabina Aliyeva mentioned that respective measures will be taken for solving those issues and their appeals will be in the focus.

In conclusion, the Ombudsman once again expressed her gratitude for the military servicemen of the Azerbaijani Army for the liberation of our occupied lands.
