Ombudsman Sabina Aliyeva met with war veterans

The Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of Azerbaijan Sabina Aliyeva met with a group of veterans of the Patriotic War. The reserve major Ziyadov Ilkin Eldar oglu, reserve captain Mammadov Anar Yashar oglu, captain Muradov Zaman Mugabil oglu and senior lieutenant Dashdamirov Gadir Ismayil oglu took part in the meeting held at the Ombudsman Office.

The Ombudsman first congratulated our veterans on the glorious Victory in the 44-day Patriotic War under the leadership of the President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, noting that the Azerbaijani people are deeply grateful to the soldiers and officers of our Army for the liberation of our occupied territories.

During the meeting, Sabina Aliyeva spoke about the state care to the families of martyrs and veterans. The Ombudsman also inquired about the concerns of veterans and noted that the issues raised by them will be in her focus of attention.
