Information of the Ombudsman Office

Some media outlets spread untrue information about the suspension of activity of the Ombudsman and her Regional Centers.

We would like to inform you that the Ombudsman Sabina Aliyeva continues her activities within the powers given to her by the Constitutional Law on the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The Commissioner also continues receiving appeals on a daily basis, which are also taking up for the investigation in accordance with the law, sending requests to competent bodies, as well as holding and organizing online awareness-raising events and meetings.
