An awareness raising event on the topic "My rights" was held by the Southern Regional Center of the Ombudsman

During the “Child Rights Month long campaign”, the Southern Regional Center of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Department for the Lankaran Region of the State Committee on Religious Associations of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Lankaran district education branch of the Lankaran-Astara Regional Education Office jointly organized an awareness-raising event on the topic of “My rights” in the Separadi village general secondary school.

During the speech, the head of the Southern Regional Center of the Ombudsman, Z. Ismayilov, provided information  about the activities of the Ombudsman in protection of the children's rights.

The international child rights protection mechanisms, the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Children’s Rights", international documents that our country has joined in the field of children's rights were discussed at the event.

At the end, interactive discussions were held with the participants.
