Guba and Jalilabad Regional Centers of the Ombudsman jointly held a videoconference

Guba and Jalilabad Regional Centers of the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) and Ministry of Youth and Sport have jointly organized regional awareness raising event with participation of Youth and Sport departments of 13 surrounding districts. The event was entitled "Raising awareness of young people on human rights and gender equality, preventing anti-social behavior among youth, and on preventive measures and Commissioner's activities on human rights protection".

The heads of the Regional Centers, chairpersons of youth and sport departments of these districts delivered speeches on the topic touching upon Human Rights Month-long Campaign, activities carried out in protecting human rights and freedoms, the active role of young people in different areas of social life. The participants were informed about the purpose and objectives of the State Program "Azerbaijani Youth in years 2017-2021" and work carried out in the implementation of this Program.

In the videoconference, the questions of young people concerning ensuring, promoting and protecting human rights and freedoms were comprehensively answered, interactive discussions were conducted.
