Guba Regional Center of the Ombudsman held an event via videoconference

Guba Regional Center of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan held an event through video conferencing with participation of members of Scouting Association from Guba and Khachmaz districts within the framework of Human Rights Month-long Campaign.   

The head of Guba Regional Center, Bahruz Afandiyev conveyed the greeting and felicitations on May 28-Republic Day to the participants on behalf of the Ombudsman Sabina Aliyeva.

He has noted that June 18 is marked as Human Rights Day in Azerbaijan according to the Presidential Decree dated June 18, 2007. Thus May 18-June 18 is observed as Human Rights Month-long Campaign on the initiative of the Commissioner for Human Rights.

It was stressed that the appeals received by the Ombudsman institution during the special quarantine regime are handled sensitively as well and are kept under control.

Participants held broad discussions on the topic, and their questions were answered.
