An online legal awareness event was held by Sheki Regional Center of the Ombudsman

Sheki Regional Center of the Ombudsman held an online legal awareness-raising event entitled “My Rights” for teaching staff and students of the secondary school No. 1, located in one of the villages of Zagatala district in the frame of the Human Rights Month-long campaign, declared by the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Sabina Aliyeva. 

After congratulating the participants on Ramadan holiday and the Republic Day on behalf of the Ombudsman Sabina Aliyeva, the head of the Regional Center, Parviz Mammadov informed the participants about the Month-long campaign, various online educational meetings, videoconferences on the human rights, including the right to health, intended to be launched during this campaign.

Furthermore, the participants were given broad information about the activities taken in the field of human rights and freedoms, reforms, including actions taken for the protection of child rights, the relevant international treaties to which Azerbaijan became a party, as well as about the national legal framework.
