The Ombudsman's National Preventive Group conducted monitoring at Sanatorium Type Boarding School No. 10

During the “Child Rights Month-long Campaign”, the National Preventive Group conducted monitoring at the Sanatorium Type Boarding School No. 10 at the initiative of Sabina Aliyeva, the Ombudsman of Azerbaijan.

During the monitoring, the canteen, bedroom, medical and psychological aid rooms, and other administrative rooms were inspected, and recommendations were made regarding the storage and organization of food products according to the menu, the provision of medical and psychological services, as well as the placement of beds in bedrooms in line with the appropriate standards and the improvement of other issues in the boarding facility.     

At the end, a presentation of the child-friendly educational tool “Know Your Rights,", which was initiated by the Ombudsman and aimed at developing and raising awareness among children who are residing in and educating in child facilities about their rights, was held. The educational tool was presented to the employees and children in the facility.
