Jalilabad Regional Center of the Ombudsman organized event on "Protection of youth from religious radicalism, drug addiction and other harmful habits"

Jalilabad Regional Center of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Lankaran Regional Department of the State Committee on Religious Associations (SCRA), Lankaran City Education Department and Lankaran City District Police Department co-organized an event on the topic “Protection of youth from religious radicalism, drug addiction and other harmful habits” at the school No. 9 named after R.Badalov.

The event was attended by the head of the Ombudsman’s Jalilabad Regional Center, staff members of Lankaran Regional Department of SCRA, Lankaran City Education Department, and inspector of the group on Organization of Preventive Work with Juveniles, the school principal, teachers and students. The head of the Ombudsman’s Jalilabad Regional Center, Ziya Ismayilov delivered a speech on “Fundamental Rights”.

The event highlighted the importance of protecting young people from drug addiction, other harmful habits and such kind of ideological influences and their upbringing in a national spirit and moral values.

In conclusion, the questions of participants were answered.
