Sheki Regional Center of Ombudsman held an awareness event titled “Youth are our future”

Sheki Regional Center of theCommissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan held a legal awareness event titled “Youth are our future” in Mingachevir Tourism College.

In the event, the head of the Sheki Regional Center, Parviz Mammadov greeted the participants on behalf of the Commissioner and conveyed her best wishes to them. He said that as a driving force in the society the young people have a great responsibility to increase the power of Azerbaijan as a sovereign country and motherland of all Azerbaijanis living in the world. Moreover, it was also stated that the youth policy is one of the priorities of the national state policy. Growing up of the young people as true patriots and citizens serves to the strategic priorities and national purposes.

In general, the participants were informed about the Law on the Youth Policy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the adopted relevant state programs, including the State Program on “Azerbaijani Youth for 2017-2021” and the activity of the Commissioner in the concerned field.
