A staff member of the Ombudsman Office participated in the event titled 'Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities: Development for All'

During the 'Child Rights Month Long Campaign' declared by the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan at Secondary School No. 23, an event on the topic 'Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities: Development for All' was organized in cooperation with the Baku city Nasimi District Executive Authority.

At the event, which brought together representatives of several state institutions, law enforcement authorities in the district, and students, Azer Isalı, a representative of the Child Rights Protection Unit of the Ombudsman Office, gave a speech, providing information on the Ombudsman's activity in the field of protecting child rights.

During the event, the participants were informed about the international documents, national legislative acts, and protection mechanisms on child rights, including the CRC and the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On the Children’s Rights".

At the end, questions from the attendees were answered.
