Employees of the Ombudsman's Office conducted further inspections in the military units

The Ombudsman Office continue its regular visits to military units, carried out on the basis of the agreed schedule with the Ministry of Defence, of Emergencies and of Internal Affairs.

Staff members of the Ombudsman Office carried out planned visit to the southern “X” military units of the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Emergency Situations and Ministry of Internal Affairs. The visit was aimed at monitoring the living conditions, treatment and ensuring human rights of servicemen in the military facility.

All military objects, treatment, quality of food, the organization of medical and leisure activities, and the organization of personal training have been inspected. Ombudsman’s representatives held awareness meetings with the personnel and servicemen about relevant legislation, Ombudsman’s competences and military rights and duties. 

Ombudsman’s staff members gave recommendations on improving the work done.
