Child Rights Month-Long Campaign starts

Annually on the initiative of the Commissioner of Azerbaijan celebrated on the eve of the adoption of the UN CRC on 20 October - 20 November and the "Children's Rights Month" on the eve of the 20th of November - World Children's Day. The goal of the month is to raise awareness of children and to further improve the situation of child rights.

Ombudsman addressed the state bodies, city and rayon executorial bodies, national NGO Forum and local communities regarding arrangement of Child Rights Month Campaign. The aim of this campaign is to strengthening effective promotion of child rights through exhibitions, awareness-raising activities, holding training-seminars in child care institutions.

Ombudsman will be informed about the outcomes of this campaign and schedule of the activities to be held by the competent authorities.  

Those activities will serve for promotion, developing legal thinking and culture and child rights protection.
