Hierarchic Education of Child Rights is continued in 2018

As it is known the Azerbaijani Ombudsman together with the Ministry of Education implements project of hierarchic education of child rights at secondary schools.

In 2017-2018 academic year the project is realized in 12 secondary schools of Baku and in one school of Shamkir, Samukh, Shabran, Khachmaz, Balaken, Gakh, Salyan and Neftchala rayons.

The project which is peer-to-peer education of child rights contributes to learning of children about their rights, development of their knowledge and public speaking skills, as well as increase of their activeness, also teaching them moral values, healthy lifestyle and specialization of teachers of relevant subjects on human rights.

Brochure “Child Rights Convention”, textbook “Selected Subjects on Hierarchic Education of Child Rights” and other legal publications prepared at the Ombudsman Office are used during the teaching process.
