Events within the framework of Peace month long campaign were held by Ganja and Sheki Regional Centers

Within the framework of Peace month-long campaign, Ombudsman’s Ganja Regional Center held an event on the topic “Islam Solidarity and Human Rights. The event was attended by educational, healthcare, cultural facilities, municipalities, NGOs and active young people.

Sabuhi Abbasov, Head of the Regional Center talked about the importance of peace month-long campaign held each year at the initiative of the Ombudsman.

Another event was held by Sheki Regional Center held awareness raising events in Gakh, Balakan rayons and Mingachevir city for staff of local, executive and self-governing bodies and people.

Parviz Mammadov, head of the Regional Center noted that 21 September is celebrated as the International Peace Day all over the world and informed participants about the work carried out by the Commissioner for promotion of peace culture.
