Representative of Ombudsman attended event held within the framework of Peace Month long campaign

As it is already known from 21 August to 21 September Peace month-long campaign is held all over the country as the initiative of the Commissioner for Human Rights. Different conferences, round-tables dedicated to this topic are held in each rayon and city of the country in cooperation with central and local executive powers, international organizations, educational facilities, NGOS and mass-media.

Staff member of the Ombudsman office Mugalib Mahmudov attended event dedicated to International Peace Day held at boarding school in Bilgah settlement of Sabunchu District of Baku.

He informed participants about the history of this day and added that special attention is paid by the Commissioner to education of peace culture among citizens, establishment of inter-cultural and inter-religious dialogue.
