The representative of the Ombudsman Office participated in training organized by support of EU

Head of the Unit of the Ombudsman Office Rashad Novruzov participated in a training on “Interview Techniques for Asylum Seekers and Asylum Procedures of Vulnerable Groups” organized within the framework of MOBILIZE Project implemented by International Center for Developing Migration Policy with the support of EU.

Interview techniques and rules while defining refugee status, professional approach and communication tools, methods of defining asylum seekers among vulnerable groups, particularly, children, persons with disabilities, as well as the practice of European countries in this field were discussed during the training.

The representative of the Ombudsman Office focused on the activity of the Commissioner for protection of human rights and freedoms, particularly on the rights of refuges, IDPs and migrants.
