The Representative of the Ombudsman office attended seminar on Gender Problems and media

The representative of the Ombudsman office Lamiya Zeynalova attended two-day seminar on Gender problems and media. The aim of the event was to share experience and to learn European experience in this regard.

The Ombudsman’s representative made a presentation on “Characteristics of gender problems of women and girls of different ages and the role of media in their solution”. She informed participants about the multi-dimensional activity of the Ombudsman in protection of human rights and freedoms, women rights, ensuring gender equality, the freedom of expression, the right to obtain information, events held and recommendations and proposals made in this regard.
