Ombudsman’s representative attended an event held within the framework of Family Academy

An event dedicated to Family Academy Project of “Aydinliga Dogru” Public Union.

The representative of the Ombudsman Office Yegana Jafarova attended the event. In her speech she focused on the events on family issues held, proposals made by the Commissioner on protection of the rights of women, children, the elderly, persons with disabilities. It was noted important measures were taken by respective state bodies upon the Commissioner’s proposals, a number of amendments and additions were made to the Family Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The importance of continuation of joint efforts of respective state bodies, NGOs for solution of family problems was highlighted.
