Ombudsman’s representative attended event dedicated to World Day of Hemophilia

An event on the occasion of World Day of Hemophilia, was held by Republic Association of Persons with hemophilia. The representative of the Ombudsman Office Mugalib Mahmudov also attended the event. In his speech he focused on the measures taken by the state for protection of the rights of persons with disabilities including persons with thalassemia, hemophilia, other hereditary blood diseases and the work of the Commissioner in this regard.

It was added a special law on State care for Persons with thalassemia, hemophilia, other hereditary blood diseases, later on the rules of registering these persons and providing them with sanatorium spa treatment was approved.
