An event on the right to health was held at Leadership School

An event was held at Leadership School of the Azerbaijani Child and Youth Network – a resource center on child rights of the Commissioner. Head of Department of the Ombudsman office Faig Aghayev delivered a speech at the event. He informed participants about the Commissioner’s activity for protection of human rights, including child rights to health, series of awareness raising events held in this regard. He stressed the importance of measures to be taken for protection of persons, as well as children’s rights to health, expanding of events in order to promote healthy life style.

Representative of International Red Cross and Red Crescent movement talked about the history of the movement, fundamental principles and the activity of this organization.

Group discussions were held at the end of event. Booklets were distributed among the participants.
