The Regional Centers of the Ombudsman held a set of events on the occasion of Independence Day

The North, South, West, and Northwest Regional Centers of the Ombudsman of Azerbaijan held a set of events on the occasion of 28 May – the Independence Day. 

In the speeches made during the events, it was spoken about the history of the establishment of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic and its role in the history of statehood. It was noted that state independence was preserved with the return to power of the National Leader, Heydar Aliyev, when our Republic faced a threat of losing its independence at the end of the past century. 

In addition, it was said that President Ilham Aliyev, who successfully continues the National Leader’s policy, are leading the reforms that are being carried out in all fields in the country, including the effective safeguarding human rights and freedoms.
