A staff member of the Ombudsman Office participated in a seminar on "International Legal Standards in the Field of Labor and Their Implementation in Azerbaijan"

The Azerbaijan Academy of Labor and Social Relations and the Republican Committee of the Azerbaijan Oil and Gas Industry Workers' Union jointly held a joint seminar on "International Legal Standards in the Field of Labor and Their Implementation in Azerbaijan" as part of the "Human Rights Month-Long Campaign" declared by Sabina Aliyeva, the Ombudsman.

Mahir Mammadov, the Head of the Unit at the Department for Cooperation with International Organizations and Civil Society Institutions of the Ombudsman Office, participated in the seminar as a trainer.

During the training, extensive information was provided about the Ombudsman's activities in protecting human rights and freedoms, including labor rights, and participants' questions were answered.
