The Ombudsman’s South Regional Center held an awareness-raising event on the early parliamentary elections

The South Regional Center of the Ombudsman of Azerbaijan organized an awareness-raising event on the citizens’ right to vote in the early parliamentary elections.  

Numerous regional branches of various relevant state bodies took part in the event. The Head of the Regional Center, Z.İsmayılov, spoke about issues related to ensuring citizen’s rights, the principles of the right to vote, the organization of the elections, the overall election process and its phases, and active and passive suffrage. He also emphasized that the citizen’s right to vote is always under focus in our country and that the Ombudsman Institution organizes a number of public awareness events in this field. 

The event was continued with interactive discussions, and the questions of the participants were answered.
