The Ombudsman’s Regional Centers held public awareness events on “Ensuring the Electoral Rights of Citizens”

The Ombudsman West and South Regional Centers organized public awareness events titled “Ensuring the Electoral Rights of Citizens” in Ganja, Samukh, Sheki, and Jalilabad in connection with the snap parliamentary elections.

It was noted during the events that the protection of citizens' electoral rights in Azerbaijan is consistently monitored by the Ombudsman. Significant efforts have been made to effectively ensure and protect these rights, including organizing a series of legal awareness-raising events in this area. Additionally, the provisions of the Election Code were explained.

Discussions were also held on the topic, and participants' questions were answered.
