The Ombudsman’s West Regional Center organized a range of events on the eve of International Day of Peace

On September 21, on the eve of the International Day of Peace, the West Regional Center of the Ombudsman, in collaboration with the Ganja Youth House, the Ganja-Dashkasan Regional Youth and Sports Department, and the Ganja-Dashkasan Regional Office of the State Committee on Works with Religious Institutions, organized an event in Ganja titled "Tolerance is the Foundation of Peace and Coexistence." Furthermore, in cooperation with the Goygol District Executive Authority and Goygol Youth House, an event was held in Goygol on the theme "Culture of Peace and Human Rights."

At the events, the head of the Ombudsman’s West Regional Center, S. Abbasov, provided information about the Ombudsman’s activities aimed at ensuring the right to equality in society and preventing discrimination. He also discussed the last changes to the Constitutional Law on the Ombudsman of Azerbaijan.

During the events, discussions were held on the topic, and questions of the participants were answered.
