The Ombudsman’s Representatives held a Meeting with the Citizens Repatriated from Syria

On 18th September of 2024, 6 persons, including 4 children, one man and one woman, have been repatrated from Syria, where they were held in camps. 

The Ombudsman’s representatives met with those repatriees to learn the situation of ensuring their rights.  

At the meeting, the general condition of them was checked, their problems and needs were learned, and recommendations regarding protection of their rights were made. 

Additionally, those repatrees were informed on how to appeal to the Commissioner.
