Ombudsman’s Regional Centers held a range of events in connection with the 18th October – Day of Restoration of Independence

The Ombudsman’s North, South, West, and North-West Regional Centers organized a range of events in connection with the 18^th October – Day of Restoration of Independence. 

The events focused on the hostorical background of the adoption of the Constitutional Act on the State Independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the 18th October 1991,  and the restoration of state sovereignty. 

In addition, the participants were informed of reforms carried out by the National Leader Heydar Aliyev in the field of protection of human rights and freedoms at the national level after his second return to power.
