The Ombudsman’s representative took part in the Sixth All-Republican Forum of Azerbaijani Children as an expert

Nigar Aghayeva, Head of the Child Rights Protection Unit of the Office of the Ombudsman of Azerbaijan, participated as an expert in the Sixth All-Republican Forum of Azerbaijani Children.

During the Forum, N. Agayeva made a presentation as an expert in the Working Group (WG) "Children's Rights: Unite for Development – Environmental Law" and had a dialogue with children about the subject.

The WG discussed the laws protecting children's rights and environmental safety, safeguards in this field, the Ombudsman's role, and solutions to current issues pertaining to how environmental issues around the world affect children's development. During the Forum, the participants were informed about the proposals on the subject.
