The next international delegation is officially visiting our country upon the invitation of the Ombudsman of Azerbaijan

The delegation of the Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission (IPHRC) of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), is visiting our country upon the invitation of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Sabina Aliyeva. 

The main purpose of the visit is to conduct a fact-finding mission in the areas where our religious and cultural monuments, as well as cemeteries in Azerbaijan, which were destroyed  by Armenia and in densely populated residential areas that were subjected to Armenia's military attacks during the Second Karabakh War.

Today, the delegation, together with Ombudsman Sabina Aliyeva, visited the Alley of Honor and the Alley of Martyrs.

First, the memory of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev was commemorated at the Alley of Honor, and flowers were laid at his grave. The memory of the distinguished ophthalmologist-scientist, academician Mrs. Zarifa Aliyeva, was also honored, and fresh flowers were placed on her grave.

Then, at the Alley of Martyrs, the martyrs who had fallen for the territorial integrity and independence of Azerbaijan were respectfully commemorated. 

The public will be regularly provided with information about the extensive activities to be carried out during the visit.
