Ombudsman’s Regional Centers held a series of events dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the Khojaly Genocide

The Ombudsman’s  North, West, Northwest, and South Regional Centers organized a series of events dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the Khojaly genocide.

The information about activities carried out by the Ombudsman for the purpose of conveying the realities of the Khojaly genocide to the world community was noted, and it was noted that annually, a statement is issued and sent to international organizations, ombudspersons, and NHRIs of other countries on the anniversary of the Khojaly genocide.

Furthermore, the importance of recognizing this criminal act as an act of genocide under international law and of bringing the perpetrators to justice was highlighted.
