The Ombudsman Office and Port of Baku jointly organized educational events

The Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Port of Baku jointly organized an educational event for the students of a number of schools located in the settlement of Alat in connection with the Presidential Order regarding the declaration of 2025 as the “Year of Constitution and Sovereignty” in the country. 

The head of the Unit in the Ombudsman Office, Mugalib Mahmudov provided extended information to the students about the essence and significance of the Constitution, the stages of development in our country, the human and civil rights and freedoms stipulated in this important document as the supreme goal of the state, the related protection mechanisms, as well as the Ombudsman's activities in the corresponding field.

Ultimately, the students received the "Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan for Children," along with several books.
