An awareness meeting held at a child rehabilitation facility

As part of the "Human Rights Month" announced by Sabina Aliyeva, the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, an awareness event was organized with the participation of the employees of the Child Rehabilitation Center No. 2 of the State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.

During the meeting, dedicated to the "Protection of Children's Rights and Prevention of Child Labor," Nigar Aghayeva, the head of the Child Rights Protection Unit of the Ombudsman Office, made a presentation, informing  the participants about the institution's significant activities in this field as well as existing international and national legislative acts.

During the meeting, discussions were held on the activities of the Center and the rehabilitation of persons with disabilities identified under the age of 18, informative booklets prepared by the Ombudsman Office were distributed, and questions of the participants were answered.
