The representative of the Ombudsman spoke at the UNEC-hosted legal awareness event

Within the framework of the "Human Rights Month" announced by Sabina Aliyeva, the Ombudsman of Azerbaijan, a legal awareness event was organized with the participation of faculty members and students from the Engineering and Digital Economics faculties of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), as well as the Design School.

During the event, Mugalib Mahmudov, the head of unit in the Department for Cooperation with International and Civil Society Organizations of the Ombudsman Office, gave comprehensive information on the extensive activities carried out in our country for the effective protection of human rights and freedoms. He also provided detailed information about the work of the Ombudsman Institution, including its role as a non-judicial redress  mechanism.

The interactive event included discussions with participants on the development of legal thinking and legal culture, and their questions were answered.
