The Ombudsman participated in a meeting with entrepreneurs within the framework of the 'Femida Dialogue Platform'

Within the framework of the "Femida Dialogue Platform", the Ombudsman of Azerbaijan, Sabina Aliyeva, participated in a meeting held between the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan and members of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs' Confederation.

During her opening speech, S.Aliyeva gave information about her activities in the field of promotion of free entrepreneurship and the restoration of violated rights of entrepreneurs.

The Ombudsman highlighted the collaboration with government institutions, civil society organizations, and international organizations in this field.

It was said that the work is being carried out in our country on the implementation of the "UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights" and the preparation of a national action plan. It was noted that the Ombudsman Institution is actively involved as a coordinating body in this area.

S.Aliyeva also informed the participants about the document titled "An Overview of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights", prepared by the Ombudsman Office.
