The Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Sabina Aliyeva, has met once again with the winner of the competition, Vusala Bayramova.
During the meeting, the Ombudsman familiarized herself with V. Bayramova's work over the past three months and exchanged ideas regarding the development prospects of her career and the improvement of her leadership skills.
During the meeting, detailed information was provided about the priorities of the activities of the Ombudsman Institution, and the projects to implement to protection of the rights of vulnerable groups in society. In addition, attention was drawn to the proposals and initiatives for the promotion and realization of human rights and freedoms, put forward in the current year, coinciding with the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev.
At the end, V. Bayramova was given the educational publications, and the compilation of lectures titled "Introduction to Gender" published in Azerbaijani and foreign languages with the Ombudsman's initiative, which reflects the current issues related to gender equality and the protection of women's rights.
It should be noted that within the next three months, the winner of the second "Rise" competition is expected to participate in local and international meetings with the Ombudsman and heads of the relevant departments of the Institution.
