Appeal of the Ombudsman to the International Community regarding Armenia's Mine Provocation in the direction of Allahgulular Villiage of Shusha District

Today, in the direction of the village of Allahgulular of Shusha district, our servicemen were injured due to the blowing up of a military truck of Azerbaijan Army by a mine newly planted by the illegal Armenian military units on that road.

Another military serviceman who came to help the wounded was hit by an anti-personnel mine. Consequently, this incident has resulted in severe injuries to three of our servicemen.

During the search of that area, the detection of anti-tank and anti-personnel mines produced by Armenia in 2021 around the road is another proof of Armenia's continuation of provocation policy in the post-war period.

Considering that such  provocative  acts have been intensified recently in the region which are the violation of international humanitarian law, we call on the world community to take decisive steps to end Armenia's actions that threaten peace and increase tension in the region, causing more people to die and injured.
