On the initiative of the Ombudsman, an event was held at the Correctional Institution of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice

As every year, on the occasion of the Ramadan holiday, on the initiative of Sabina Aliyeva, the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Ombudsman), an event was organized in the Ministry of Justice for the convicted children as a vulnerable group of the population.

During the event, the juveniles were received by the staff members of the Ombudsman Office, who listened to their appeals and conducted targeted legal education conversations with them.

At the end, the children were conveyed the congratulations of the Ombudsman on the occasion of the Ramadan holiday; they were presented with holiday gifts, and their free time was effectively organized.

It should be noted that the Commissioner always pays attention to the issues of ensuring the rights of vulnerable groups of the population, including convicts.
