The Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsperson) of the Republic of Azerbaijan Sabina Aliyeva met with Vusala Bayramova, the winner of the second "Rise" competition.
During the meeting, the Ombudsperson gave information about her mandate and directions of activities in the field of protection of human rights and freedoms.
At the same time, the Ombudsperson emphasized that she prepared reports, appeals and statements reflecting the facts about the violated human rights as a result of the crimes against humanity and war crimes committed by Armenia against Azerbaijan during the war and post-war period and addressed them to relevant international organizations, ombudsmen of foreign countries and national human rights institutions.
Later, the Ombudsperson said that according to the personal development plan, V. Bayramova will be engaged in work of different departments and units of the Office for 1 year, conditions will be created for her to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills in the field of human rights.
In the end, the winner of the second "Rise" competition thanked the Ombudsperson for the opportunity created within the framework of the mentoring program and the warm reception, also expressed her desire to benefit from her local and international experience.
