The Ombudsman conducted a monitoring visit to the military unit in Hadrut settlement

Ombudsman Sabina Aliyeva, in accordance with the 2023 joint Action Plan between the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan and the Ombudsman Office, with her staff conducted a monitoring visit to the military unit located in the Hadrut settlement on February 6.

During the visit, the Ombudsman and the staff members first paid a visit to the "Iron Fist" bust and the memorial complex dedicated to the martyrs within the area of the military unit. They laid flowers at the memorial and honored the dear memory of the martyrs.

The Commander of the 2nd Army Corps, Mayis Barkhudarov, informed the guests about the establishment and activities of the military unit. Subsequently, Ombudsman Sabina Aliyeva wrote heartfelt words in the "Book of Honor" of the unit.

Sabina Aliyeva and her staff familiarized themselves with the conditions created for the personal staff, including the dormitory, canteen, and other non-military secret facilities. The Ombudsman visited the Hadrut Military Hospital located there, and inquired about the health conditions of the military servicemen receiving treatment, met with medical staff, and wished them success in their services.

Ombudsman Aliyeva had lunch in the military unit's canteen together with our military servicemen.

 She presented gifts to a distinguished group of military servicemen and took a commemorative photo with the personal staff of the military unit. 

At the end of the visit, memorial gifts were exchanged.
