The representative of the Ombudsman participated in the III Republican Forum of Patient Organizations

The III Republican Forum of Patient Organizations was held by the Patient Organizations Union, established to support state healthcare institutions, promote new approaches in the treatment of various deseases, and keep our gene pool healthy. 

During his speech, Mugalib Mahmudov, head of the Legal Education Unit at the Ombudsman Office of Azerbaijan, informed the participants about the activities of the Ombudsman in the field of social and legal protection of patients, including the improvements of the legislation for more effective protection of the right to health as one of the core human rights and legal awareness-raising events in the relevant field.   

Then, medical experts employed by state-owned healthcare institutions and heads of non-governmental organizations made various presentations on topical issues. The questions were answered.
