Ombudsman's Southern Regional Center held an event on preventing human trafficking

The Western Regional Center of the Ombudsperson organized a legal enlightening event on “Strengthening of propaganda and education in the fight against human trafficking” with the joint organization of the regional center, Masalli city Youth and Sports Department and the “Masalli Center for Youth”.

The head of the Regional Center, Mr. Ziya Ismayilov spoke about the importance of carrying out awareness-raising measures for the general public in the field of social protection of the trafficking victims and fight against trafficking in persons.    

Meanwhile, Z.Ismayilov gave information to the participants on the activities of the Azerbaijani ombuds institution in the field of combating human trafficking.

The awareness-raising event was continued with questions and answers.
