The Office of the Ombudsman held a reporting meeting dedicated to the results of the year

A reporting meeting on the results of 2022 was held at the Office of the Ombudsman chaired by the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Ombudsman) Sabina Aliyeva.

Ombudsman Sabina Aliyeva opened the event with an introductory speech, spoke about the activities carried out in the field of effective protection of human rights during the year, informed about the work done and achievements.

It was noted that the Ombudsman institution, which celebrated its 20th anniversary this year, continues to develop its activities in accordance with modern challenges and international criteria.

At the meeting, Ombudsman gave information about the activities carried out in the post-war period, reports submitted to international organizations, international conferences and events organized by the institution, as well as signed memorandums of cooperation with international institutions and institutions of the Ombudsman.

The annual reports of the relevant structural divisions of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as the North, South, West and North-West regional centers of the Ombudsman were heard.

Later, Sabina Aliyeva expressed her sincere wishes to the team on the occasion of December 31 - the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis and the upcoming new calendar year.

In conclusion, the relevant structural divisions of the Office were assigned the goals and objectives related to the upcoming work in accordance with the areas of activity in the field of human rights protection and priorities for the next year.
