Ombudsperson Sabina Aliyeva greeting the guests, said that she attaches special importance to cooperation with international organizations and other partners in the field of protection of human rights and freedoms, including ICMPD in the regulation of migration processes, and that existing relations between the two institutions are expanding.In particular, she highly appreciated the ongoing actions within the framework of the Support to the Implementation of the Mobility Partnership with Azerbaijan (MOB?LAZE 2) project, in which the Office of the Ombudsman is a partner.
Radim Zak, Regional Coordinator for Eastern Europe and Central Asia of ICMPD expressed his satisfaction with the joint work and effective cooperation and emphasized the importance of joint activities.
At the meeting, the Parties exchanged views on the prospects of future cooperation on various aspects of migration.
