Ombudsman Sabina Aliyeva was presented with the "Golden Woman" Award

The Turkish World Women's Platform granted the Ombudsperson of Azerbaijan, Sabina Aliyeva with the "Golden Woman" Award for her multi-faceted and effective activities in the field of protection of human rights and freedoms in the country, for her continuous work in the international arena in restoring the violated rights of our refugees and IDPs, the war-affected civilian population, including for her role in organizing the effective activities of the Institution.

The deputies, representatives of central and local executive authorities, media outlets, and civil society institutions took part in the award ceremony.

At the award ceremony, the Ombudsman thanked the organizers for being granted the "Golden Woman" Award and emphasized that Azerbaijani women have always been brave and proud throughout history, raising heroic children worthy of their homeland.

The Ombudsman congratulated the Azerbaijani women who gave birth to our martyrs who died for the freedom of our Motherland, our veterans who fought heroically, who instilled in them the spirit of patriotism and love for the country, who was properly upbringing, and all the people of Azerbaijan on the upcoming November 8 - Victory Day and November 9 - Flag Day.
