Educational events were held in Sabail District during "Child Rights Month"

The Executive Power of the Sabail District of Baku organized educational events in schools No. 49, 236, and 239 for teachers and students during "Child Rights Month", announced by the Ombudsman and run between October 20 - November 20, 2022.

Mr. Azer Isali, a staff member of the Child Rights Protection Unit at the Ombudsman Office informed the participants about the CRC as a significant international treaty on the protection of children's rights, and its guiding principles.

Also, the staff members of the Ombudsman Office gave extended information about the works carried out by the Ombudsperson towards the protection and promotion of child rights, including the prevention of their violations.

As well as, students were advised to contact the Ombudsman’s Call Center ‘916’ if their rights were violated.

The event was continued in the form of active discussions. In the end, students' questions about the topic were answered.
